Since the rise of AI, there has been a lot of super realistic false videos been made with the purpose of deceiving the general public and one of them is the story of a lady from a unknown country Torenza.

A couple of days back, a video went viral on Social media platforms about a lady covered in Hijab landing at the JFK International Airport in New York, United States. The strange woman was said to fly in from Tokyo, Japan and tendered her passport that was issued by a nation called Torenza, a country that, according to all known records, maps, and databases, simply does not exist.
The way the video was structured, framed like breaking news, as if it had just happened, and covered by international media, fooled millions of people, many of whom already believed the fabricated lies.
Debunking The Torenza Lies
From a quick look into the video, you could see that the video was concocted and made with some AI tools. It involves the joining of multiple videos and other auto generated images from the numerous AI video maker that has sprung up in recent times.
Torenza as a country also don’t exist anywhere and it’s impossible for a country that don’t exist to issue a passport.
Bizarre event of such nature will attract the attention of just every major news out and the airport will assign officers to cover such case, but that’s not the case, because the entire story is a fabricated lies that never happened.
