Stephen Letoo is a controversial figure who is known for his mentorship to men and boys who desire to take control of their relationship, marriage and career. His dedication, determination, and vision to amplify youth voices and enhance their capacity to actively participate in economic, social and political spheres has yielded lots of positive outcomes.
Biography
Stephen Letoo was born June 27, 1991 (Age 33). He hails from Narok County located in the southwestern part of Kenya.
Being a son of a notable former chief in Narok county, Stephen Letoo grew up equipped with proper education and mindset needed to function in a society.
Stephen Letoo had his basic education at the Kabianga Boys High School & Primary School in Kericho. Immediately after highschool, he went to University of Nairobi where he acquired a Degree in Journalism.
Career
Stephen Letoo had always had this passion for journalism at a very young age. His upbringing and privileges further fueled this passion.
Having access to TV in the 90s in rural areas was a luxury. Fortunately, Stephen Letoo’s father was the wealthiest man in the village and could afford a TV, making it the only one in the entire community. Stephen Letoo was exposed to content from the state broadcaster KBC, igniting his passion. While still a high school student, he launched the weekly assembly news bulletin called “Kabianga 100.” With “Kabianga 100,” Stephen Letoo reported events and local activities that occurred within and around his school premises.
Immediately after graduating from University of Nairobi, he gained his first employment as a reporter at Radio Africa Group owned radio stations Kiss 100 and Classic 105. Few years after working for stations Kiss 100 and Classic 105, he secured a reporting and presenting possition at Citizen TV.
Men Activism
Stephen Letoo has become notorious for his for tips to men. He organizes a Men’s conference event every February 14th of each year. The first edition of his Men’s conference was launched in 2023 and now has over 40k signed membership.
While championing the well-being of the boy child, Stephen Letoo has injected alpha teachings into his everyday mentorship program.
His teachings and mentorship includes the defence of polygamy and the need for men to be incharge of every affairs of the society and home.
Relationship
Stephen Letoo is married to two beautiful women and he’s said to have a number of concubines. He married his first wife, Winnie Nadupoi in 2019, and they are blessed with a son, Santino Leylan.
Criticism
Stephen Letoo has been criticised by many for been a partisan journalist, a claim which he has dismissed.
He is also been perceived by to be misogynist due to his teachings.
